‘GOAT’ Box Office Day 1 Prediction: Vijay’s film to have a massive opening worldwide

Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Greatest of All Time’ has hit the screens amidst tremendous buzz across the world. The Tamil film is expected to register a great opening at both the global and domestic box office. The film has already set new benchmarks for Tamil cinema in its advance booking and now it looks like the sky is the limit for this Venkat Prabhu directed film.

The film is expected to gross over Rs 100 crore globally, including Rs 30-40 crore at the domestic ticket window. ‘GOAT’ sold around 12.37 lakh tickets in advance booking on its first day in India, which is an extraordinary number for any film. This will be the second consecutive film starring Vijay to gross over Rs 100 crore worldwide. Earlier, ‘Leo’ had collected around Rs 142 crore worldwide on its opening day, setting a new benchmark for the Tamil superstar at the global box office.
Starring Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prabhu Deva, Prashanth and Yogi Babu, ‘Goat’ is trying to rewrite history for Thalapathy Vijay at the box office. It is going to perform well in the Tamil market, but going by the advance booking trends, its business in Telugu is going to be even better.
The film is expected to cross the Rs 100 crore mark before the end of its first weekend in India. If the positive response to the film continues, the film will earn huge profits in the weekdays as well.
