Late actor Rishi Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor recently shared an old photo with an emotional note for her father on his birth anniversary. She also said that Alia and Ranbir’s daughter Rhea Kapoor is Rishi Kapoor’s younger version.

She captioned the note, “Happy Birthday Papa. Wish you celebrate your special day with both your granddaughters. Your Bandari Sam is all grown up and baby Raha is the cutest-she’s your little girl. Papa, I will always cherish the memories we share. We miss you so much and our love for you grows stronger with each passing day.”

Ranbir Kapoor’s father Rishi Kapoor was a legendary Indian actor who left an indelible mark on Bollywood. He began his career as a child artist in the song ‘Pyar Hua Iqrar Hua’ from his father Raj Kapoor’s film ‘Shri 420’, which also starred Nargis. Rishi officially made his Bollywood debut in 1973 with ‘Bobby’. During his illustrious career, he appeared in countless films, with his last film being ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’, which released posthumously in 2022.

Rishi Kapoor battled leukemia for two years and finally succumbed to the disease on April 30, 2020. He was 67. Prior to his death, he had undergone treatment in New York before returning to India.
