Actress Rupali Ganguly recently shared a cryptic note on her Instagram Stories. The ‘Anupamaa’ star posted a quote by spiritual guru Sadhguru amid rumours of her rift with actor Sudhanshu Pandey, who quit the show a few days ago. The quote she shared talked about dealing with “bad” people in life.

Rupali has never spoken about the alleged bitterness between her and her former co-star. However, there has been speculation for a long time that the two did not get along on the sets. The quote she shared on Instagram Stories read, “If someone treats you badly, try love first. If that doesn’t work, compassion. If that doesn’t work, distance (sic).”

Sudhanshu had announced last week during a live session on Instagram that he is no longer associated with ‘Anupamaa’. The actor was playing the role of Vanraj Shah in the show and his sudden exit led to disappointed reactions from fans.
However, in his interviews after the announcement, the actor denied the reports of a rift with Rupali. He mentioned that fans are hurt, and they would like to guess the reasons behind his decisions. Sudhanshu said that Rupali is his friend and he would never spread rumors against her.

the actor told times of India“Nobody is responsible for someone’s going out. It’s my choice whether I want to do something or not.” If I decided I wanted to move a little further I did (If I decide I want to move on, it’s completely my decision).”

Sudhanshu also said, “I don’t think this is fair.” We hold someone responsible. I have never taken Rupali’s name till date (It is not fair to blame someone else for my decision. I never took Rupali’s name). She is my friend. Why would I say something like this about her?”

Sudhanshu calls Rajan Shahi his ‘brother’

Several reports also stated that his differences with the show’s producer Rajan Shahi were the reason he decided to quit ‘Anupamaa’. However, he denied these claims in the same interview. Sudhanshu called Rajan his “brother”. He said, “Rajan is an old friend and our relationship has always been like that of two brothers. We worked together when he was starting out as a director, much before he became a producer. From my side, nothing has changed in our equation. However, everyone makes their own decisions about how they want to be with the other person. I have no hard feelings towards anyone.”

‘Anupamaa’ is one of the most popular daily soaps among Hindi audiences. Apart from Rupali Ganguly, it also stars Gaurav Khanna, Nidhi Shah and Chandni Bhagwanani. It airs on Star Plus from Monday to Saturday at 10 pm.
