It is very easy to make Thecha Curd Rice at home. This recipe has been shared online by digital creator Mahima Dhoot (@diningwithdhoot).
- First of all, heat a pan on medium flame. Then add some oil to it. When it is hot, add 4-5 garlic cloves, 2-3 green chilies and 1 teaspoon cumin seeds. Mix all the ingredients and cook.
- When the garlic cloves turn golden and the cumin seeds begin to crackle, remove the pan from the heat and let it cool for 5-10 minutes.
- Put all the ingredients in a mortar, along with a handful of coriander leaves, 1 tsp salt and a handful of roasted peanuts. Grind it with a pestle till it becomes a coarse paste. Keep aside.
- Take one cup of boiled rice, one cup of curd and some milk in a bowl. Pour the prepared thecha over it, mix all the ingredients and enjoy it!
