Amy Jackson and Ed Westwick’s wedding used a giant cake, champagne and oysters

Must read

What’s a wedding without good food? Actors Amy Jackson and Ed Westwick’s wedding in southern Italy was dreamy in every way. The couple shared glimpses of their special day, which included a candlelit dinner and a stunning wedding cake. The wedding cake, designed by chef Damiano Carrara, featured the couple’s initials, a textured design on two tiers and vanilla frosting at the bottom. The dessert table was named after Amy’s parents, Carol and Peter. The subsequent slide gave an inside look at the party, but what caught our attention was the sparkling dinner table adorned with white roses.

Guests were seen drinking red wine and champagne while enjoying the party. Guests at Amy and Ed’s wedding also enjoyed oysters with lemon. Talking about the delicious menu at their wedding, Amy and Ed wrote, “We walked past the dessert table named after our beloved Carol and Peter and cut our cake designed by the fabulous chef Damiano Carrara.”

The bride, in an interview with Vogue, revealed that the five-tier cake was made wonderfully with white chocolate and candied roses, vanilla cream and had a base of choux pastry cookie. She added that the cake was finished with raspberry jelly and looked absolutely fabulous. Amy Jackson also discussed other food items at her wedding, including tortelloni, raviolo and more. “Our guests really enjoyed the Neapolitan-style escarole, tortelloni with forbidden anchovy sauce and black truffle, beef stracciatella raviolo with smoked provolone and chestnut fondue and gnocchetti with asparagus fondue, guanciale, dates and caciocavallo cheese. Equally delicious was the snapper with scampi and clam guazzetto sauce, which paired perfectly with the roasted endive.” Since Amy is a vegetarian, there were some equally delicious vegetarian dishes on the menu as well.
