Jio Phonecall AI is a new AI-powered service from Jio that will provide AI-powered features for phone calls, such as recording, transcribing, summarizing, and translating conversations. The service aims to help users manage their calls more efficiently by making it easier to convert spoken words to text, save conversations, and translate them into multiple languages.
How to use Jio Phonecall AI
– To get started, add the Jio PhoneCall AI number (1-800-732-673) to your ongoing call like you would add any other participant.
– Once connected, a welcome message will play, confirming the AI ​​is ready to assist.
– To start recording and transcribing the conversation, press #1. The AI ​​will start listening to the spoken words in real-time and converting them into text. It will periodically announce that the call is being recorded to keep all participants informed.
– If you need to stop the transcription at any time, press #2. The AI ​​will confirm that the transcription is paused.
– To resume, press #1 again, and the AI ​​will continue transcribing the call.
– To stop AI participation, press #3. The AI ​​will confirm that it has stopped recording and transcribing the call.
– After the call ends, all recordings, transcriptions, summaries, and translations are securely stored in the Jio Cloud. Users will be able to access these files anytime to review or share, providing an easy way to manage their call data.
Availability of Jio PhoneCall AI
Although Jio has announced the new feature, it has not shared any timeline regarding its availability. We tried the feature and it did not work. We expect it to be available to Jio users in the coming weeks.
