Today, Motorola unveiled the Edge 50 Neo to the world and also announced the global rollout of the Edge 50. Let’s take a look at the new arrival first.
The Motorola Edge 50 Neo is a compact and interestingly designed phone, but it still shares the Edge 50’s IP68 water and dust rating, as well as its MIL-STD 810H certification.
The phone is 154.1 mm tall, 71.2 mm wide and 8.1 mm thin and weighs just 171 grams. On the front, there is a 6.4″ 120Hz FHD+ OLED LTPO display with up to 3,000 nits of brightness. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
Unlike the Edge 50, which offers both vegan leather and vegan suede finishes, the Edge 50 Neo is only available in vegan leather with a softer texture. The phone is available in a number of attractive colours.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo is powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and has 256GB or 512GB of storage.
Power is drawn from a 4,310mAh battery with 68W TurboPower wired and 15W wireless charging support. A 68W adapter comes in the box, as well as a colour-matched protective case!
The Motorola Edge 50 Neo sports a 50 MP main camera with a 1/1.56-inch type Sony LYTIA 700C sensor, a 13 MP ultrawide camera with PDAF, and a 10 MP 3x telephoto zoom. On the front is a 32 MP selfie shooter with fixed focus.
Motorola uses its own Moto AI image processing, which it says works across all cameras and on uncompressed image data to bring out the best image. Interestingly, Moto AI also tunes video quality.
One thing about the Motorola Edge 50, which was introduced earlier this month for India and Mexico. It is now making its global debut.
The Motorola Edge 50 comes in two vegan leather finishes – Jungle Green and Peach Fuzz, and one vegan suede – Koala Grey.
It shares the same camera system, as well as an IP68 water and dust rating, and MIL-STD 810H certification as the Edge 50 Neo, but it’s a bigger phone with a bigger screen and battery.
It has a 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED panel with Gorilla Glass 5 on top and packs a 5,000mAh battery that comes with 68W/15W wired/wireless charging. The Motorola Edge 50 has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition with 8GB or 12GB of RAM. It has 256GB and 512GB storage options.
