After weeks of leaks, the iQOO Z9s will finally launch in India in less than two days. The launch event is scheduled for August 21 and the new mid-range iQOO phones will be available for purchase via Amazon. Ahead of the official event, the e-commerce platform has revealed the full list of specifications of the upcoming iQOO Z9s and iQOO Z9s Pro smartphones. The company has also hinted in its teaser that the new phones could be priced under Rs 25,000 in India. Here’s everything to know.

iQOO Z9s, iQOO Z9s Pro specifications confirmed on Amazon

The iQOO Z9s is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. The smartphone features a 120Hz 3D curved AMOLED display. The company revealed that the new iQOO phone is also IP64 rated for dust and water resistant. It packs a 5,500mAh battery. Charging speed information is currently unknown but we do know that the brand will bundle a charger in the retail box.

In terms of photography, the iQOO Z9s also features a dual-camera rear setup. This includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 OIS primary camera and a 2-megapixel portrait camera. Some of the photography features include 4K video OIS, AI Photo Enhance for blurry photos, and AI Erase to remove unwanted objects from photos.

The iQOO Z9s Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. Under the hood, there is also a 5,500mAh battery, but with the added benefit of 80W fast charging. The Pro variant also features a 120Hz 3D curved display with a peak brightness of 4,500nits.

In terms of camera, it has the same primary camera as the Z9s. On the back, you will see a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 OIS sensor, accompanied by an additional 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. It also includes the same AI camera features. The more expensive model is IP64 rated for protection against dust and water splashes.

A fresh teaser image shared by the company reveals that the iQOO Z9s series will be priced under Rs 25,000. This is written at the bottom of the official image, but it also suggests that this could be changed till the launch. Since the teaser states that the upcoming iQOO phones will be priced under Rs 25,000, it suggests that the Pro could also be priced in the same range. On the other hand, the Standard could be priced around Rs 20,000. But, nothing is confirmed yet and we will get better clarity at the launch event.
