Kelly Clarkson fans have been eagerly awaiting this announcement. On the show, which aired on Thursday, August 8, the 41-year-old pop star revealed that Kellyoke covers of her hits from The Kelly Clarkson Show are now available on SiriusXM’s Kelly Clarkson Connection channel.
Clarkson shared the news with her followers on Instagram, saying, “You’ve seen them perform on the @kellyclarksonshow, and now you can hear the Kellyoke cover on the Kelly Clarkson Connection! Listen now on @siriusxm.”
Along with her Instagram post, Clarkson also included an audio clip announcing this exciting news. She expressed her excitement, saying she is thrilled that the Kelly Clarkson Connection channel will now feature her Kellyoke covers.
“I’m so excited to share Kelly Clarkson because it’s one of the things I get asked the most: ‘Can you put them all on one CD? Can you put them all on…’ One CD? Oh, my God. I’m from the ’90s. What?'” Clarkson said.
He added, “The Kelly Clarkson Connection was the perfect place for it. I mean, this is my station, so why not just put it here so my fans can listen? People have been asking me all the time, so we’re starting with a lot of covers at the beginning, and we’ll slowly add more. This will be where you can hear Kelly Clarkson mix and mastered specifically for this station.”
Clarkson also revealed that fans can come to SiriusXM 12 to hear her musical covers, as well as the stories behind the songs and reactions from the original artists.
Clarkson’s SiriusXM channel, Clarkson Connection, was launched in November 2023. This 24-hour station features her favorite tracks from other artists and gives insight into the stories behind some of her own songs.
The popular breakaway singer has made her Kellyoke covers a staple of The Kelly Clarkson Show.
This month, Clarkson wowed audiences with her rendition of Carrie Underwood’s “Blown Away.” Earlier in June, she also delighted fans with her beautiful renditions of Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” and Shania Twain’s “You’re Still the One.”
