Adele appears to have acknowledged her engagement to Rich Paul during a concert in Munich on August 9.
When one of the fans proposed while the performance was going on, Adele revealed that she could not marry him because she was “already married”, which was captured on video and widely shared on social media.
She said, “I can’t marry you, I’m already getting married.”
However, the Hello hitmaker wasn’t wearing a ring at the concert in Munich, as everyone in attendance noticed.
Recently when she was spotted hanging out with Rich Paul in London, she had a pear-shaped diamond ring on her finger, confirming their engagement rumours.
This comes after rumours have been circulating for months that the couple is preparing to tie the knot. Since July 2021, reports have linked Adele and Paul together after they first appeared together during an NBA Finals game. They made their relationship public via Instagram in September 2021.
Adele has always spoken well about him during various interviews where she revealed that their relationship is deeper than any other relationship she has ever had. She said that she met him years ago at a party where his lively and energetic spirit attracted her to him.
In other instances as well, Adele praised Paul’s wit and intelligence, indicating that this union was a turning point. In November 2021, in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, she said of Paul, “He’s just hilarious. Oh, he’s so funny, he’s hilarious, yeah. And very smart. You know, he’s very, very smart. It’s quite incredible to watch him do everything he does.”
Rumours of their engagement first flew online around February 2022, when viewers spotted Adele with a huge ring during the BRIT Awards. However, she refused to give further details related to it.
Adele celebrated Paul’s 41st birthday at a Las Vegas residency show, where she publicly revealed how much she loves him. According to reports, they have maintained a great relationship.
