The first teaser for the upcoming Apple TV series, Disclaimer, is here. Directed by Alfonso Cuaron, the show will hit the streaming platform this October.

In the released promo, we see Cate Blanchett trying to hide something that threatens to destroy her future.

The official synopsis released reads, “Acclaimed journalist Catherine Ravenscroft (Blanchett) built her reputation by exposing the misdeeds and crimes of others. When she receives a novel from an unknown author, she is horrified to discover that she is now the main character in a story that reveals her darkest secrets. As Catherine races to uncover the author’s true identity, she is forced to confront her past before it destroys her life and her relationship with her husband Robert (Cohen) and their son Nicholas (Smit-McPhee).”
