Vijay Varma spoke to IndiaToday.in during the release of ‘Darlings’. He revealed how Alia Bhatt’s team first approached him for the role of Hamza in the film. The actor also revealed that a film like ‘Darlings’ requires “a lot of spontaneity and trust between the two actors”.
He said, “These kind of roles can never be a success. I was excited and so the challenge was how to make it special, true and honest. It is a very heartwarming feeling, I had four-five scenes in Gully Boy and now I get to share the screen with Alia and she has made it possible. I first got a call from Alia’s team for the role of Grishma, so I feel I am doing something right.”
‘Darlings’ is jointly produced by Alia’s Eternal Sunshine Productions and Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
