Like Huma Qureshi, if you too are planning to visit France in the near future, then do include these places in your itinerary.
1. Paris
France holidays are incomplete without a visit to Paris. The city of lights has great museums like the Louvre, historical sites like the Eiffel Tower and impressive architecture like the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur. Apart from this, Parisian cuisine is amazing. If you are fond of shopping, then Paris can be heaven on earth for you.
2. The French Alps
Do you want to escape the tourist spots? Plan a trip to the French Alps. This place full of natural beauty has one of the best ski slopes in Europe. In summer you can enjoy exciting activities like biking and hiking. The charming villages are a great place to relax and unwind.
3. Annecy
Annecy has earned the nickname Venice of the Alps. This quaint town has winding canals that overlook Lake Annecy. Admire the pastel coloured buildings and cobblestone streets of Vieille Ville here. Take a romantic boat ride and stroll across the Lovers Bridge with your partner. Add the historic structures of Chateau d'Annecy and Palace de l'Ile to your bucket list.
4. Burgundy
Boasting of great cuisine, numerous vineyards, and rolling hills, Burgundy will help you experience the rural charm of France. Exploring medieval villages, museums, and historic monasteries can be an option.
5. Bordeaux
Enjoy some great quality red wine in this wine-producing center. Once that's done, you can see the Gothic-style Basilique Saint-Michel, take photos of the Pont de Pierre and Place de la Bourse, or stroll along the paths of the Jardin Public.
