Vikrant Massey: I don’t think there will be a second part of ’12th Fail’ | Exclusive
Actor Vikrant Massey speaks to IndiaToday.in about his career, the choices he makes and the sequel to ’12th Fail’.
Actor Vikrant Massey’s 12th Fail has turned out to be a game changer film in his career. Vikrant, who will next be seen in Netflix’s Haseen Dillruba after the second installment, spoke to us about the choices he made after the success of 12th Fail. Vikrant also talked about the possibility of a sequel to 12th Fail.
In an exclusive conversation with India Today, Vikrant was asked if he is consciously making the right choices so that he is not put in a box, the actor said, “Now, I am getting a lot of calls, people are saying let’s do another 12th Fail, but I am making a conscious change to do something different. When something works, people want more of it, so then came Haseen Dillruba, but here, it applies because we left the first part in such a way that there was a possibility to see what happens in their lives after this.”
“If I may say so, I really don’t see a second part of 12th Fail (happening). Do people want it? Yes. But is it the right thing? I mean, it’s a collective decision that we all have to take. From my experience, whatever little I know, yes, films that work, people want you to do them again,” the actor signed off.
Meanwhile, Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba will release on Netflix on August 9.
