Taylor Swift praised the performances of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in Deadpool and Wolverine. On her Instagram account, the Grammy Award winner posted a photo of herself with the Marvel film’s leading men and Blake Lively, along with saying nice words for the upcoming superhero movie. Swift described the film as a real portal to joy that will make viewers forget about the real world. The pop star also asked her fans to buy tickets for the film, as it is a movie not to be missed.
The anti-hero singer gave particular praise to Reynolds’ portrayals of Wade Wilson and Hugh Jackman in the film; she called the film the best work of her life.

Swift posted a photo of herself in a black top and shorts on her Instagram Story with the Deadpool and Wolverine cast and director Shawn Levy. Additionally, the Blank Space singer shared, “Over the past few years, I’ve watched one of my best friends on the planet pour every bit of his heart, soul, sweat, time, energy, jokes, pain, joy, rebellion, darkness, and magic into this film.”
He further wrote, “He’s done some of the best work of his life, and this movie feels like a real bliss gateway, a wild escape from reality, and an abs sandwich. I don’t know how he did it.”
Poking fun at Ryan Reynolds, Swift revealed, “But that’s just for you Hugh! These other people interrupted the photo and we were too polite to ask them to leave.”
The Love Story singer also added, “Shoutout to Wade Wilson, aka my godkid’s sperm donor.” Swift’s friendship with Reynolds and Blake Lively goes back a long way. The musician is also godmother to the couple’s four children.

With the release of the trailer of Deadpool and Wolverine’s friendship, fans were excited about Taylor Swift being a part of the film as the preview gave a glimpse of Lady Deadpool. However, Reynolds dismissed the reports by confirming that the musician will not be making a cameo in the Marvel film.
During his recent appearance on The Tonight Show, the actor revealed, “I wish Taylor — if I ever stopped, she would make a good Deadpool. Funny, funny, funny.” Meanwhile, fans are hoping for a collaboration between Swift and the MCU soon.
