In the upcoming episode of The Young and the Restless airing Thursday, July 25, tensions rise as Devon Hamilton-Winters asks for Victor Newman’s blessing, Alan and Tracy take their relationship to the next level, and Kyle and Summer go head-to-head over Harrison’s trip to Paris.

Devon Hamilton-Winters (Brighton James) will track down Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) with an important target. Devon is likely to reveal that Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) has agreed to marry him, and has asked Victor for his blessing for their union. Victor, who respects Devon, is expected to accept Abby and welcome her into the family before picking a wedding date. Devon may also discuss his concerns about Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) staying with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), whom Victor has cryptically hinted is being accounted for due to his acquisition of Chancellor Industries.
In Paris, Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) surprises Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland). Alan will express his deep feelings for Traci, to which she responds. They may take their relationship to the bedroom or clarify their situation on this special evening.
Back in Genoa City, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) confronts Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) about taking Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsel) to Paris. Despite being legally unable to stop the trip, Summer makes her disagreement clear. A fierce argument ensues, with Kyle insisting that the trip is final, especially since Claire Grace (Haley Erin) has agreed to come along to take care of Harrison. Summer’s concerns about Claire and Audra Charles (Juleka Silvers) are dismissed as Kyle firmly silences her.
