Apple’s iPhone 15 series, launched in September, is now available at a discounted price during Flipkart’s mega June Bonanza sale that ends today.
Apple’s latest iPhone 15 series, introduced during the Wanderlust event in September, created a buzz with its new features and improvements. When it hit the market, eager buyers flocked to Apple’s new store in India to purchase the device. Initially, the 128GB iPhone 15 was priced at Rs 79,900, the 256GB model was priced at Rs 89,900, and the 512GB version was priced at Rs 1,09,900.
Good news for those eyeing the iPhone 15: Flipkart’s mega June Bonanza sale is offering the device at a massive discount, but hurry—the sale ends today, June 19.
Currently, the 128GB iPhone 15 is available on Flipkart for Rs 65,499, which is lower than its launch price. You can save even more if you use a Flipkart Axis Bank card or trade in your old smartphone. The trade-in value depends on the condition of your old phone – the better its condition, the higher the discount. Apart from this, there is also an additional discount of Rs 1,000 on select credit card non-EMI transactions.
iPhone 15 Specifications and Features
The iPhone 15 has a 6.1-inch display and comes in five colours: pink, yellow, green, blue, and black. This model retains the design of the iPhone 14 and earlier models, but replaces the traditional notch with a dynamic island notch, a popular feature of last year’s iPhone 14 Pro models.
As for the camera, the iPhone 15 features a 48-megapixel primary sensor, which promises better low-light photography and stunning portrait shots. Apple claims the device offers “all-day battery life,” and a recent report suggests its battery life is twice as long as initially promised. The iPhone 15 was said to be able to endure 500 charging cycles while maintaining 80 percent battery health, but Apple now says it can withstand 1000 cycles.
The iPhone 15 is powered by Apple’s A16 Bionic chip, an upgrade from the A15 Bionic chipset used in the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus last year. Last year’s Pro model was powered by the A16 chip, which is known for its excellent performance.
A notable change in the iPhone 15 is the switch to a USB Type-C charging port, marking the end of the Lightning port era for Apple and adopting the widely used USB Type-C standard.
So, if you have been waiting to buy the iPhone 15, now is a good time with the Flipkart sale offering significant savings.
