Sumona Chakravarti says Kapil Sharma did not fire her from his show: No animosity
Sumona Chakraborty recently clarified that she has not been removed from Kapil Sharma’s show. She also said that there is no rift between them.

Actress Sumona Chakravarti, who will soon be seen in ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’, recently clarified the news of her departure from Kapil Sharma’s show. In an interview, she clarified that she has neither been fired nor has she resigned from ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. Dismissing all the rumours, Sumona also said that she is not angry with Sharma.
Sumona said in an interview, News18He said, “I have said this time and again, I was part of a show that ended in July last year, and it’s not like you walked out of it, or I resigned, or I was fired, the show ended in July and after that, we all moved on. We started our individual projects after that.”
She further said, “I am doing ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’. He (Kapil Sharma) did another show. It’s just that there is no animosity between us. Why would I be angry (with Kapil)? He and I have worked together before and I have even been to Romania.”
Sumona played important roles in Kapil Sharma’s comedy show ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ and later in ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.
The ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’ actor is now back in India after shooting for ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’ in Romania.
‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’ will premiere from July 27. Sumona also shared her experience on the stunt-based reality TV show, saying that she is surprised with herself and is extremely excited for the show to go on air.
