Aamir’s friend says amid opposition to third marriage, has seen him heartbroken and crying
Aamir Khan’s friend Amin Haji has defended the actor amid the protests over his third marriage, saying he has seen him heartbroken and crying. She also praised Aamir for being honest in his relationships and maintaining his marriage in a dignified manner.

Amidst the protests over Aamir Khan’s third marriage, his friend Amin Haji has described him as a very emotional person, who has gone through heartbreak. In a recent interview, Amin said that people may make fun of Aamir finding love again, but the 61-year-old actor’s personal life includes pain, tears and difficult periods that outsiders don’t always see.
He also said that Aamir’s complete dedication to his work often came at a personal cost. Amin said the actor always treated his marriage with respect, was honest and fair in his relationships and always took care of his former family and children as he moved forward in life.

Amin said in a conversation, “People make jokes about finding love again after many years, but 15 years is a long time. I have seen her go through heartbreak. I have seen her cry. Relationships are never as simple as outsiders think, and it is unfair to believe that only one person is responsible when a marriage breaks down.” Rediff.
He added, “The truth is that Aamir is completely dedicated to his work. Whatever he does, he does it with sincerity and passion. That level of commitment comes at a personal cost. Anyone living with a man so deeply immersed in his work can feel neglected at times.”
Speaking about Aamir’s view on marriage and his equation with his ex-wives and children, Amin said that he has known the actor for over 35 years and has always appreciated his respect for the institution.
He said, “Many people become cynical after a failed relationship, but not him. He has always treated marriage with respect.” He said, “People often joke about his personal life, but they don’t see how honest and fair he has been. Every time he has moved forward in life, he has acted responsibly. He has always ensured that his former family and children are taken care of. Very few people accept that.”

Aamir’s first marriage was with Reena Dutta in 1986. They had two children, Junaid and Ira, before their marriage ended after 16 years. Later he met Kiran Rao on the set rentAnd they got married in 2005. They had one son, Azad, through surrogacy. The couple announced their amicable separation in 2021 and remain close friends.
Aamir married Gauri Spratt on July 5 this year at his Mumbai home. Both knew each other for years and their friendship turned into a relationship two years ago. The actor had introduced Gauri to the media during his 60th birthday celebrations in March last year.
Their wedding was an intimate ceremony attended by around 150 guests including family members, friends and a select few from the film industry. Aamir’s children Junaid and Ira along with Ira’s husband Nupur Shikhare were also present. The guest list also included Mukesh Ambani, Raj Thackeray, Ashutosh Gowariker, Irfan Pathan, Vir Das and Elli Avram.
After marriage, Aamir was accused of being a “brand ambassador of love jihad”, which the actor rejected. talking to RediffAamir said that his family has always embraced interfaith relationships and none of his marriages involve religious conversion.
