Filmmaker Boney Kapoor has shared a heartfelt congratulatory letter sent by Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the marriage of his daughter Anshula Kapoor and son-in-law Rohan Thakkar. Expressing her gratitude, Boney posted PM Modi’s message on social media and thanked him for his warm wishes for the newlyweds.
The letter, written on July 3 and sent ahead of the couple’s wedding on July 6, carries PM Modi’s blessings as Anshula and Rohan start a new chapter of their lives. He also thanked Boney Kapoor for inviting him to the wedding ceremony.

The letter reads, “Hearty congratulations and best wishes to Mr. Boney Kapoor ji, Ms. Anshula and Ch. Rohan as they embark on a lifelong journey of faith and togetherness on the auspicious occasion of their marriage. Heartfelt gratitude for inviting me to the wedding ceremony to be held on July 06, 2026.”
Anshula Kapoor and Rohan Thakkar got married in an intimate ceremony, which was attended by close family members and friends.
The letter further reads, “As the couple builds a life together, the happiness they find in each other grows brighter every day and the bond between them remains unbreakable. May they journey through life as true partners, accepting each other’s flaws and growing through each other’s strengths. Once again I extend my heartiest congratulations and best wishes to the Kapoor family on this special and important occasion. Heartiest wishes, Narendra Modi.”
Sharing the letter on social media, Kapoor expressed his gratitude to the PM for his warm wishes and blessings for Anshula Kapoor and Rohan Thakkar. Describing the gesture as heart-touching, the filmmaker said that his message made the wedding celebration even more special for the couple and the entire Kapoor family.
Boney also thanked Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for his good wishes.
Anshula and Rohan started dating in 2022 after meeting through a dating application. Their bond gradually grew stronger and they officially made their relationship public in 2023.
The couple got engaged during an intimate ceremony in October 2025 before getting married on July 6.
