Filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey reportedly received an A certificate and was cleared by censors without any cuts. The approval means that Indian audiences are ready to watch the same version as global audiences.

Filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey reportedly received an ‘A’ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and passed the censors in India without any cuts. This film is going to be released in theaters on July 17.
according to a Bollywood Hungama According to the report, no dialogue or scene has been modified or altered, meaning audiences in India will get to see the same cut as the rest of the world, provided the studio has not undertaken any self-censorship in India.

With an ‘A’ certificate, the film will be restricted to audiences aged 18 and above. The makers received the censor certificate on 9 July, and the listed runtime of the film is 172.33 minutes or 2 hours, 52 minutes and 33 seconds.
Team’s arrival in India
Ahead of the release, Nolan, along with actors Tom Holland and Matt Damon, arrived in Mumbai on 10 July ahead of the film’s India premiere over two days on 10 July and 11 July. The much-awaited title became the director’s first film to get an official premiere in India, with Universal Pictures International also including Mumbai as one of the official stops on the global premiere tour along with London, Paris and New York.
The India premiere for a select section of the Indian media began on Friday, marking Nolan’s first official film premiere in the country.
A press conference will be held on the second day of the India visit, where Nolan will interact with the Indian media and answer questions about the film. Later in the day, another screening of The Odyssey will be held for celebrities from the Indian film industry.
This is Nolan’s third official visit to India.
