Lavanya Tripathi was last seen in the web series Miss Perfect directed by Vishwak Khandero and available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. The actress played an obsessive-compulsive person involved in some family comedy and some slice of life drama.

She will next be seen in the lead role in the Tamil film Thanal directed by Ravindra Madhav, which also stars Atharvaa Murali alongside her. The action thriller is said to be in post-production, with Bose Venkat and Azhagam Perumal also playing key roles.

On the other hand, Varun Tej who was last seen in the aerial action film Operation Valentine opposite Manushi Chillar is currently shooting for his next film Matka. The film is expected to be a period action thriller, which recently completed an important vintage action sequence.

Moreover, directed by Karuna Kumar of Palasa fame, the film will feature Meenakshi Chaudhary and Nora Fatehi in the lead roles while GV Prakash Kumar will handle the track and score.
