Shortly after being shared, NMPLOL responded publicly, saying that the screenshots do not tell the whole story. The screenshots were posted by Henry Resilient with images he said was NMPOL’s divorce with Malena Tudi “Worse than he thought” And said he would discuss the situation in an upcoming YouTube video.The leaked messages are from a private Discord conversation dated May 29, 2024. In the chat Malena tells Nick that he is always trying to control her. Nick disagrees and replies that he agrees. “Did nothing for 6 months.” The conversation then moves to money and bank accounts.One message attracted a lot of attention online. Malena claimed that while managing the money it was not added to the bank account which she said was hers “Human Trafficking.” Nick immediately replied, “Lmao it’s not like that.”As soon as the screenshot spread on social media, many users started sharing their opinions. Some questioned what happened between the former couple, while others were waiting to hear Nick’s response before jumping to any conclusions.
NMPOL says leaked screenshots leave out important context
Shortly after the screenshot went viral, NMPLOL responded in a discussion on the r/LivestreamFail subreddit after fellow streamer xQc saw the messages during one of his streams.Nick said the screenshots are not new evidence. According to him, they had already been presented during the legal proceedings and were reviewed by lawyers and judges. He argued that reading only a few screenshots without the full conversation could give people the wrong idea.NMPOL also explained the bank account issue from its perspective. He said Malena already had her own login to her bank account, had a credit card linked to it and could spend, withdraw or transfer money whenever she wanted.According to Nick, the disagreement was over him becoming a co-owner of the account by adding his name to hers. He said he decided not to do so and claimed the judge did not consider his decision to be financial abuse.Nick also said that he did not plan to continue debating the case on Reddit because, in his view, everything being shared online now has already been reviewed during the legal process.Leaked Discord messages have once again brought NMPLOL and Malena Tudy’s past relationship into the spotlight.
