Kill actor Raghav Juyal is currently garnering a lot of praise for his villainous role in Dharma Movie. Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, the film stars Lakshya in the lead role and is being praised for its action-packed story. In an exclusive interview with India Today, the dancer-turned-actor expressed his desire to be known for his work rather than the headlines of his personal life.

Raghav is rumoured to be dating his Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan co-star Shehnaaz Gill. Earlier, he was also linked with dancer Shakti Mohan, with whom he shared the stage on Dance+. During our chat, we asked the actor how much this noise affects him, as he has just started his career. Seemingly disappointed, he replied, “Honestly, it affects me a lot.”

Raghav said, “I have worked really hard to become an actor. I did not become a star overnight. And I have not become a star because of such headlines. I am being talked about because of my art and my talent. Also, I will never use anyone’s name to stay in the headlines. I want my acting, my talent and my art to speak among the people instead of my personal life. I have been working on this for the last 14 years and I will always do so.”

When asked if such news articles affect friendships too, given that it would alarm the said person, the actor replied, “Absolutely it does. It’s very easy for people to write anything, sometimes even lies. They don’t understand that every person has a personal side to them. I don’t come from the world of reality shows and I am not used to being in the spotlight 24 hours a day. Certain things shouldn’t be touched. I always want to be recognised for my work. I have never gossiped and will never feed gossip to others.”
