Far-right political activist Laura Loomer has come to the defense of US Second Lady Usha Vance, arguing that hatred towards her is due to her Indian heritage and Hindu faith.Loomer’s comments came after a clip of a recent CBS interview featuring Usha Vance and US Vice President JD Vance. In the interview, Usha Vance talked about her religious background and why she has not followed her husband’s path of converting to Christianity, Catholicism.US Usha Vance says of her religion and her husband’s conversion to Catholicism, “I grew up in a Hindu family, which was a very stable home. I didn’t feel the need to do something different as much as he (JD Vance) did.”Loomer praised Usha Vance for remaining committed to her faith despite criticism from some conservative circles, including podcaster Tucker Carslon. In a lengthy post onLoomer said that no matter what Usha says or does, she will never be accepted by some MAGA figures: “Groppers and Tucker Carlson will try to abuse her throughout 2028 because she is a brown Hindu woman, despite her many accomplishments. They will pretend like she is not American enough, and there is no ‘tolerance’ for these parasites by her husband who thinks he should wave them away with kindness.” They will vote for JD Vance because inside, Tucker’s audience is all the racial supremacists, professional blackmailers, violent Jew haters and Islamic sympathizers who hate America.Loomer said that Usha should never convert: “I hope Slotus never converts because I know how much it hurts the losers of the Volk Reich and he doesn’t have to do anything to any of these retards.”An X user asked Loomer: “Have you ever met an Indian?”Responding to the question, Loomer mentioned his recent visit to India and shared a positive assessment of his experience.Loomer said: “Yes, I was just in India for 2 weeks and Indians are some of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. They are very kind, generous and I would take 100 Hindus over 10 Muslims any day.”Loomer has earlier also attacked immigrants and Indian workers in America. The conservative activist had earlier criticized H-1B visa holders, claiming that Indians were taking American jobs. Now, his stance on Indian-American immigrants and India in general has changed.
