Actress Shanaya Kapoor took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her cousin sister Anshula Kapoor’s pre-wedding rituals. Many members of the Kapoor family attended Anshula’s wedding celebration with fiance Rohan Thakkar.

The pictures shared by Shanaya show her father, actor Sanjay Kapoor, her mother Maheep and her younger brother Jahaan. Anshula’s siblings Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor also attended the pre-wedding celebrations.

Sharing the post, Shanaya wrote, “We love you @anshulkapoor @rohanthakkar1511 (heart and evil eye emoji).” In the pictures, the family is seen smiling with everyone dressed in traditional attire.

Anshula got engaged to Rohan in July 2025. He had shared pictures of the romantic proposal on Instagram. Her caption read, “We started talking at 1.15 on Tuesday and ended up talking for hours,” she wrote. “Three years later, in my favorite city, in front of the palace in Central Park, he proposed!” He said the proposal happened at exactly 1.15am IST – the same time they first spoke – making it feel “like magic”. The two met on a dating app in 2022.

While Anshula confessed that she never believed in fairy tales, this moment was different. She said, “It was intentional, thoughtful, genuine. I said yes. (red heart emoji) There were ugly tears, shaky laughter and a kind of happiness I can’t explain in words.”

Anshula is the daughter of producer Boney Kapoor and his late ex-wife Mona Shourie Kapoor. She is the younger sister of actor Arjun Kapoor. Boney’s daughters from his late wife, actor Sridevi, Janhvi and Khushi are step-sisters to Arjun and Anshula.
