Durex Pakistan comes under fire online after an Instagram post inspired by a horror film Passion Fans were critical, with many accusing Brand of trivializing the film’s themes of consent and unhealthy obsession.

The post shared on Durex Pakistan’s official Instagram account shows a Durex condom placed next to the film’s fictional One Wish Willow, with Nikki (played by Inde Navarrete) standing at her doorstep. It had the tagline, “Make her obsessed with you,” while the caption read, “Send this to your freaky Nikki!”

The campaign was immediately criticized by audiences, many of whom argued that it ignored the context of the film and turned one of its most disturbing stories into a marketing gimmick.

“This makes me want to vomit so bad,” one user commented. Another wrote, “This is not a good reference.” A third called the post “literally disgusting,” while another said, “One Wish Willow near a condom is absolutely disgusting. Why are we promoting sex without consent? You’re horrible.”
