Tina Ahuja, daughter of actors Govinda and Sunita Ahuja, says growing up in a film family means growing up with rumours. Responding to the recurring speculation surrounding her parents’ marriage, Tina admitted that the gossip is “upsetting” and affects the entire family, even though they have learned to deal with it over the years.
talking to Free Press JournalTina said that she has been hearing stories about her parents’ relationship since childhood, adding that the platform of rumors keeps changing with time.

She said, “I have been watching this since my childhood. There were stories. Every decade, they have a new story. Earlier, it used to be magazines. Then it came to the internet, and now it has come to the world of Instagram and YouTube. Look, I am human. Obviously, when there is no truth in it and when it seems too exaggerated and drawn out, you get upset.”
Tina said that although such news affects her, she has learned not to react to them.
He said, “Clickbait is taken from somewhere, and another story is created. I’m no saint who will never be affected. It’s disturbing, yes. But then you have to learn to have a thick skin in this industry, or any industry in life. When you know the truth and when you know the basis, it’s better not to react or let it affect you or your health.”
When Sunita pointed towards Govinda’s alleged affair
His comments come months after rumors of trouble in Govinda and Sunita’s marriage surfaced online. The speculation gained more attention after an interview with Susunita mismaliniMaking an unusual comment about the name “Komal” hinting at Govinda’s affair.
She asked the interviewer to change her name from Komal, saying, “I hate this name. It’s problematic.” The comment sparked speculation that Govinda was allegedly involved with someone with the same name.
Govinda later dismissed the rumors during a conversation ANI.
He said, “Not a single heroine of mine can say that I ever harassed her or spoke bad about anyone… I am grateful to the name Komal she (his wife) is telling; I am ‘saved’ today because she has not said a single word and is silent.”
