What is Welcome to the Jungle about?
Unlike previous films, which largely unfolded amid urban chaos, welcome to the jungle Moves the action to a jungle setting. The teaser hinted that the story is based on a fake film project led by Akshay Kumar and a huge ensemble cast.
From staged shootouts to accidental deaths and escalating misunderstandings, the story appears to rely heavily on the franchise’s trademark brand of over-the-top humor. The trailer begins with a humorous disclaimer that no animals were used in the production of the film except for a few horses and “a few donkeys like us”, setting the tone for the comedy that follows.
Who are the actors in the film?
Akshay Kumar headlines the cast and returns to the franchise after skipping the second installment. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani and Tusshar Kapoor.
The supporting roles are played by Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda, among many others, making it one of the largest ensemble casts in recent Hindi cinema.
