Actress Priya Bapat has opened up about a disturbing incident from the early days of her career, recalling how a co-actor kissed her repeatedly during a song sequence. The actress said that she felt uncomfortable but did not know how to react or stand up for herself at that time.
in conversation with filmfareBapat revealed that he had objected to the kissing scene from the beginning and had even questioned the director about its necessity during the script-reading session. He also alleged that the co-actor’s behavior was beyond what was planned for the scene.

Bapat shared that he had repeatedly asked the director why the kissing scene was required and whether it was appropriate in the story.

He further said that the discomfort did not end after the shooting. Bapat said that the two stayed in the same hotel during the filming schedule and the co-actor repeatedly asked her to meet him for breakfast or dinner, although she declined several times.
The actress said that this experience had left her very upset and she would call her husband Umesh Kamat every night to tell him what she was going through. Concerned for his well-being, Kamat rushed to Bhopal from Mumbai, where the film was being shot, and stayed with him for the next three days.
