Actor Aamir Khan is all set to marry his partner Gauri Spratt in a low-key ceremony at her home on July 5. The 61-year-old actor and 47-year-old Gauri have decided to formalize their relationship through a registered marriage, with only their family and a small group of close friends present.
Sources close to the actor shared with India Today that the couple has recently decided to formalize their relationship. The source said, “They are both in a safe place and just wanted to celebrate their bond. They have already started preparations for the wedding, which will be an intimate event attended by family and close friends.”

The wedding is expected to be a private, intimate ceremony at Khan’s residence, with no plans for a large-scale ceremony at this time. Although the guest list has not been officially confirmed, buzz in the industry is that the actor’s friends and fellow superstars, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan could be among the attendees depending on their availability.
Gauri Spratt, who was previously associated with Aamir Khan Productions, has a seven-year-old son, Quinn, from her previous marriage. She is also the granddaughter of Philip Spratt, a British-born communist who came to India in the 1920s and later joined India’s independence movement.
The couple is said to be entering this new chapter with the support of both their families. Khan’s first marriage was to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid and Ira. She later married film producer Kiran Rao and the former couple has a son, Azad. Aamir and Kiran announced their separation in 2021.
Last year, Aamir had introduced Gauri to the media at a pre-birthday event in Mumbai. During the conversation, they confirmed their relationship and revealed that they were together for over a year. Speaking about the possibility of marriage at the time, she said, “We are fully committed. However, marriage at 60 would not be suitable for me, but let’s see.”
