Sigma: CM Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay’s first directorial film gets a release date
The makers of Sigma have announced the worldwide release of Jason Sanjay’s directorial debut starring Sandeep Kishan in theaters in July. The date puts the spotlight on Vijay’s son as he launches a high-stakes heist entertainer that is still awaiting censor clearance.

Produced by Subaskaran under the Lyca Productions banner, the film is now in post-production and will soon be sent to the censor committee.
The manufacturers have described sigma As a “high-stakes heist” film. Jason, who wrote and directed the film, recently said that his debut feature brings together action, comedy, treasure hunt and heist elements to create a highly energetic cinematic experience. Along with Sandeep Kishan, the film stars Faria Abdullah, Raju Sundaram, Sampath Raj, Shiv Pandit, Ambu Thasan, Yoga Japi, Magalakshmi, Sheela Rajkumar, Kamlesh and Kiran Konda. Kalil Raja, Sanjeev S and Ajay Ashok are credited as additional screenwriters.
On the technical side, sigma It has music by Thaman S, cinematography by Krishnan Vasanth, editing by Praveen KL and stunts by Venkat and Selva. The film was produced in locations including Chennai, Thailand, Thalakona and Salem.
