Samsung announced the Android 17-based One UI 9 beta program for the Galaxy S26 series about a couple of weeks ago, with South Korea being the first country to receive the One UI 9 beta update, followed by the UK, Germany, and a few other European countries. Now, Samsung has expanded the One UI 9 beta program for the Galaxy S26 lineup to India.

The One UI 9 beta update for Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra released in India has firmware version S94xBXXU2ZZEQ and comes with the June 5, 2026, Android security patch. The update requires a download of over 3.7GB.
Apart from expanding the One UI 9 beta program to India, Samsung has released the One UI 9 beta 2 update for the Galaxy S26 series in the UK and South Korea, with other regions also expected to get it in the coming days.
The second One UI 9 beta released in the UK for the Galaxy S26 Ultra also comes with the June 5, 2026, Android security patch and weighs in at around 1.6GB.
The changelog of the update mentions six bugs that have been fixed. they are:
- GPUWatch interruption popup issue fixed
- Fixed issue with Routines app not working
- Status bar display error improved
- Fixed an error where the lock screen clock font did not change when Lockstar was installed.
- Improved the delay issue when deleting a large number of messages
- Improved the issue where the lock screen clock moves down slowly
- Better Game Booster entry point setting error
If you are enrolled in the One UI 9 beta program and you have not yet received the first or second One UI 9 beta update on your Galaxy S26 series smartphone, you can check for it manually by going to your phone. settings > software update Menu.
