The song composed by AR Rahman is now in the news after internet users termed the dance moves of Ram Charan, Shruti Haasan (in a special appearance) and Janhvi Kapoor in 2026 as obscene and inappropriate.

The song, featuring Rakshita Suresh, was launched at the Bhopal event and later digitally. However, as soon as the digital version was released with some of the actors’ dancing scenes, it was criticized for its relevance in 2026 and vulgar dance steps.

One user wrote, “His obsession with Telugu industry and cheap dance films. I heard this song from the movie #Peddi yesterday, the dance moves in the song seemed very vulgar and offensive to women. Why does an actor who has been a part of an Oscar winning film feel the need to do such an item number?”

Another user shared the clip and asked if it was choreographed by the man who sexually harassed his colleague, hinting at the involvement of choreographer Jani without mentioning her name.
