According to tracking website SacnilkOn the 9th day, the film earned Rs 12.20 crore nett in India, which is 56.4 percent more than the 8th day’s net collection of Rs 7.80 crore.

With the latest figures, the film’s total India net collection has reached Rs 133.85 crore, while its India gross stands at Rs 154.99 crore after nine days in theatres. Foreign, Karuppu It collected Rs 3.50 crore on the 9th day, taking its worldwide earnings to Rs 217.74 crore.

Tamil version is leading

The film was shown in 4,987 shows across the country and witnessed good viewership throughout the day. The Tamil version was the biggest contributor, earning Rs 10.60 crore from 3,616 shows with a total occupancy of 49 percent.

The Telugu version earned Rs 1.60 crore from 1,371 shows and recorded 24 percent occupancy on Saturday.

As the day progressed, the occupancy of the Tamil version increased, opening at 25.46 percent in the morning and reaching 62.69 percent during the night show.

Tamil Nadu remained the film’s strongest market, earning Rs 10.35 crore on Saturday alone. Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh-Telangana added Rs 1.60 crore, while Kerala contributed Rs 40 lakh.
