Drishyam’s Ansiba Hassan accuses actor Tiny Tom of calling her a Jihadi, he reacts
Drishyam actor Ansiba Hassan has accused actor Tiny Tom of making derogatory and communal remarks, including allegedly calling her a “jihadi”. Tiny Tom has strongly denied the claims and said the allegations are based on hearsay.
Actress Ansiba Hassan, best known for her role in Mohanlal Drishyamhas accused Tiny Tom of making insulting and sectarian comments, including allegedly calling him a “jihadi”, a term commonly used to describe an Islamic extremist or militant.
The allegations surfaced shortly after Ansiba resigned from her post as joint secretary of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) in February, citing personal reasons and work commitments at the time. She has since claimed that she has repeatedly faced defamation and misinformation within the organization.

He has also alleged that rumors were spread about forced conversion of one of his colleague’s drivers.
Ansiba further said that although his resignation from AMMA cited personal and professional reasons, he had previously raised his concerns with the organization’s leadership.
She also claimed that an executive committee member filed a false police complaint against her, causing emotional distress and making her feel helpless.

Denying all allegations, Tiny Tom said:
“I can never make any communal allegations because all my friends are Muslims. When there are stage shows, I am in charge of the stage programs so naturally sometimes we shout at each other which is common among friends. I have not given him any name. How can I call him a Jihadi and so on?”
He said the claims appeared to be based on hearsay and not direct experience, and said that if Ansiba had heard such comments for the first time he should have contacted authorities.
Tom also said that the resignation letter was submitted on February 21 and the General Secretary of AMMA had asked him not to resign till the General Body meeting.
He further said that the issue was not formally pursued in subsequent discussions and Ansiba later cited work commitments as the reason for his resignation.
