The post also confirmed that the film is now officially in production. The update has instantly caught the attention of fans, but it also brings a clear message. As filming continues in North Carolina, the team had previously asked viewers not to share shooting locations or visit the set, saying it was disrupting their work and creating safety concerns.

Makers asked fans to give place in the team

The production update comes in the form of several behind-the-scenes clips from the set circulating online. Fans were also seen gathering near the shooting site. In a statement shared on May 5, the show’s official account said that such visits were impacting filming and raising genuine safety concerns. A video posted along with the statement showed the words “privacy please” written in the sand.

The caption reads, “We love the excitement, but sharing locations and visiting sets disrupts filming and creates real safety concerns for our cast and crew.” It says, “We’re working hard to create a protected bubble to make the best movie possible. Please help us preserve Cousins’ magic until it’s ready to share.”

Writer Jenny Han also addressed the issue on Instagram Stories. “When people come on set, film and share videos, it disrupts work. It makes it harder for actors to get into character and creates unnecessary anxiety,” he wrote.

He added, “We often have to stop production to clear the crowd from the shot, which breaks the crew’s focus.” Han continued, “This story means a lot to me, and I know it means a lot to you too. I want to give you the best version of this film. Please help keep our process safe.”

The final chapter of Bailey’s story

This isn’t the first time the franchise has talked about fan behavior. Ahead of the show’s third season last year, Prime Video urged viewers to “keep the conversation kind” and avoid online harassment of cast members.

The upcoming film is set to serve as the concluding chapter of Han’s bestselling trilogy. Plot details are limited, but hopefully the story will continue Bailey’s journey as she chooses Conrad over Jeremiah, played by Gavin Casalegno. The cast also includes Ryan Spencer, Sean Kaufman and Rachel Blanchard.
