From Anupam Kher, Sanjay Dutt to Kajol: Celebrities pay tribute on Mother’s Day
Celebrities celebrated Mother’s Day by sharing cute pictures, throwback memories and love-filled messages for their mothers on social media. Anupam Kher, Sanjay Dutt, Kajol, Sunny and Bobby Deol were among the stars who made the occasion memorable.

Many celebrities celebrated Mother’s Day on Sunday by sharing personal messages and family photos on social media. Posts ranged from tributes to the mothers who shaped their lives to notes on motherhood. Actors Anupam Kher, Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Kajol and Richa Chadha among others graced the occasion.
Some actors shared old pictures, while others posted videos and short notes. Together, the post offered a glimpse of how film personalities celebrated the day.

Anupam Kher shared a tribute to his mother Dulari on Mother’s Day and wrote about maternal sacrifice, intuition and unconditional love. She described motherhood as a force that shapes a person every day, writing, “Mother doesn’t just give birth, she makes us a little bit every day.”(A mother doesn’t just give birth…she makes us a little bit every day).”
He also wrote about how much a mother sacrifices for her children, a mother says “The chip imprints its share of sleep, happiness, desires or sometimes even the whole life in our name.… (She silently dedicates her share of sleep, happiness, desires and sometimes her whole life to us) (sic).

Sanjay Dutt remembered his late mother Nargis Dutt with rare black-and-white photographs from his childhood. In the caption, she wrote, “Mumma, I miss you. I wish you were here with me. Your love and blessings are always with me. Love you mom.”
In one picture, Nargis was also seen with her sisters Priya Dutt and Namrata Dutt. The iconic actor died in 1981, days before making his Bollywood debut with Sanjay rocky.

Bobby and Sunny Deol also posted for their mother Prakash Kaur. Bobby wrote, “No matter how old I get, I will always be your little boy. Happy Mother’s Day my precious mom.” Sunny shared a compilation of pictures and videos as an Instagram reel and wrote, “Love you mama.”


Kajol shared a picture with her mother Tanuja and wrote, “We both are part of the #MothersClub, but she is the President & CEO.. Salute to the one and only #myMother! She is my Kali, Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati, all rolled into one. Even the Goddess knows this.”
