Actor Rajinikanth on Wednesday paid tribute to Super Good Films producer RB Chaudhary, a day after the veteran died in a car accident in Udaipur. Apart from Vijay, many actors and film personalities of Tamil cinema also paid their last tribute to him.

Speaking to the media during his visit, Rajinikanth said that Choudhary met him on the sets jailer 2 About four months ago he was asked to make a film. Rajinikanth said that the proposed project would be Choudhary’s 100th film as a producer, and added that although they had never worked together, the producer was a close friend.

Rajinikanth said that Chaudhary wanted to retire after completing the landmark film starring him in the lead role. He said that the filmmaker had told him that he had some stories in his mind and he wanted him to listen to them. “I told him I will do it 100 percent,” the actor said about the proposed collaboration with RB Chaudhary.

Recalling a recent conversation, Rajinikanth said, “Two months ago, KS Ravikumar told me that Choudhary sir had introduced many directors and all of them should give him a grand farewell. He is a great man, who brought many directors, saved the industry and gave jobs to many technicians in it,” Rajinikanth said.

The actor also said that none of Choudhary’s 99 films faced any major issues. Rajinikanth recalled, “Even if those issues did arise, he would directly meet the concerned team members at their residence and directly resolve them and would come back after having coffee there. He is a very strategic person.”

Rajinikanth further talked about the producer’s personal qualities, including his hard-working nature, honesty, faith in God and his ability to be happy. “I asked him how he remains so healthy and happy, and he said, ‘I don’t take risks. I know my potential and will make films within that. After making the film, I will leave the rest to God and plan the next step.’ He is an amazing soul and creator.”

He expressed grief over Choudhary’s death and extended his condolences to the filmmaker’s family and loved ones.
