Thangalalan directed by Pa Ranjith is a historical action drama starring Chiyaan Vikram in the lead role. Recently, the film’s composer GV Prakash and the production team released the teaser of the film’s first song on their social media platforms. The glimpse of the tribal themed song looks quite good, increasing the eagerness for the film’s release.
Thangalalan’s first song promo released
Thangallan’s first single titled Minikki Minikki is a tribal festival song composed by GV Prakash. The track perfectly captures the joy of tribal festivals. Chiyaan Vikram’s energetic dance moves on the tribal tunes is a highlight that cannot be missed. The song is set to release on July 17.
Sharing the promo, GV Prakash wrote, “Music of the #Thangalan tribes 1st single #MinikkiMinikki from 17th for all of you @beemji @chiyaan @StudioGreen2 @JungleeMusicSTH let’s go.”

The trailer of Thangallan has already created a lot of buzz. It begins with Parvathy Thiruvothu’s character asking Vikram about his thoughts, which hints at his fragile mental state. An Englishman named Lord Clement comes to their village, asking for gold with the help of the villagers. A villager warns that asking for gold is akin to asking for death. Malavika Mohanan plays Aarthi, who is considered a witch who protects the land against exploitation. The trailer ends with Vikram covered in gold and surrounded by his community.

Know all about Thangalalan starring Chiyaan Vikram
According to the makers of the film, Thangalalan is inspired by the historical tale of Kolar Gold Fields (KGF), which was originally discovered by the British two centuries ago. The British exploited this land and its inhabitants for their own benefit. Directed by Pa Ranjith, Thangalalan is set to premiere on August 15 in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam languages.
Vikram’s last appearance was in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan. After Thangalalan, he has Veera Dheera Sooran in the pipeline.
