Tamil film Kaara flopped on its first Monday, witnessing a massive decline of around 65 per cent compared to Sunday. After recording an extended opening weekend of Rs. 27.50 crore, the Dhanush and Mamita Baiju starrer made Rs. Earning of Rs 2 crore was done on the fifth day (Monday). Kara’s five-day fee is now Rs. Earning Rs 29.50 crore at the Indian box office.
It saw a moderate trend throughout the weekend, followed by a major drop on Monday, which sealed its fate at the box office. Based on current trends, the film is expected to cross its entire theatrical run at Rs. Thinking of closing around. 33 crores to Rs. Earning Rs 34 crore at the Indian box office.
If the film doesn’t show any bounce in the second weekend, it may close its entire theatrical run under Rs. 40 crores in India, which would be disappointing for a film like this.
