Aashiqui Actor Rahul Roy addressed the recent trolling and viral clips on social media, urging audiences not to believe or engage with fake videos asking for money in his name. In a detailed statement, the actor clarified that he is safe, living with his family and his simple lifestyle is a personal choice.
In his note, Rahul wrote, “Thank you all who loved and supported me. This message is for all my haters, trollers and fake video makers. I am safe and my sister @harimaapriyanka and brother-in-law @romeersen are taking good care of me, I stay at my sister’s house. We have a lovely house in Madh. And I love her very much which makes me the luckiest brother in the world.”

He said that his twin brother, Rohit Roy, lives in Canada and due to work commitments, they have not met for almost nine years. He said he had clothes, shoes, food and a car and was not an abandoned man living on the street.

The 60-year-old actor also said that the fake videos circulating online are not true and that his sister and brother-in-law have provided him with everything, urging people not to disturb his peace as they are his only family.

He also talked about his simple lifestyle and said that it is his personal decision.
The actor wrote, “My problem is that I like to live and wear simple and easy things, I wear simple clothes which is my personal choice, my family has given me the best clothes but I wear simple clothes it is my personal choice, I do not take bodyguards it is my personal choice, if I sometimes travel by auto it is easy and quick it is my personal choice.”
He said, “I made those reels with ingenuity and not with clever ideas, it was work and there was no financial help for me, I always think work is work and it is my personal choice.”
Rahul said that he is looking forward to good work and is taking advantage of the opportunities currently available. He also said he had to handle personal court cases and urged people not to trust or support any videos claiming to raise money for him. He asked people to verify any such claims only through his or his sister and brother-in-law’s official account and not trust any other source.
