Michael Jackson is a legend of singing and dancing who has ruled millions of hearts globally for decades. Generations of family and friends have enjoyed his charm, and amid the countless controversies that have surrounded his career even after his passing, Antoine Fuqua decided to make a biographical film that would take a deeper look at his world before stardom. Capturing his time with the Jackson 5 in the 1960s, as well as beginning his solo career a few years later, Michael is paid tribute by his own nephew, Jafar Jackson, who stars in the film.

Apart from Jafar, other cast members of the film Michael include Nia Long, Kellin Durrell Jones, Laura Harrier, Jessica Sula, Mike Myers, Miles Teller and Colman Domingo. The reviews so far on social media are as follows.
User AxelTalksFilm said, “As a die-hard Michael Jackson fan, I’d be the first to admit if #MichaelJackson was bad and I’d also be the first to admit that he deserved a better portrayal of his story, and it didn’t live up to its name. But I liked it, and thankfully critics don’t make movies successful, fans do. And they’ll come in droves based on their name alone, and word will quickly spread that the critics got it wrong.” Got it. The audience got it wrong. The score, the cinema score and the box office will be a true reflection of what a wonderful love letter it was.
Many were accepting of some of the criticisms of the film.
Meanwhile, another person named Belladocchi reflected on the difficulty of making a film on someone with so much history, recently updating when Kat Graham edited out the project, “This is why it will always be difficult to make a detailed Michael Jackson biopic. There were many people in his life who were major figures who might not have wanted to be portrayed in a movie or series. The team behind the Michael movie did an impressive job telling the story despite those obstacles.”
Some were more skeptical.
