Actors Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan are set to reunite for a new comedy-drama directed by Anees Bazmee. The Bhoot Bangla actor confirmed the project with an Instagram post on Thursday, sharing a video of him and Vidya boarding a flight headed to Kerala, where the team is about to begin shooting.

In the caption, the 58-year-old actor said that they were traveling to Kerala for Bazmee’s next film. He described it as his fourth film with Vidya and said that he hoped their pairing would bring good luck. The post also offered the first direct update on the project, in which the two actors are seen stepping out for a shoot together.

The new film takes forward a working relationship that has already produced several celebrated titles.. Akshay and Vidya appeared together mazeWhich was released in 2007. His previous films have spanned a variety of genres from comedy to drama, which is one reason why the latest announcement has garnered attention. Bazmee’s film is now bringing them together once again for a comedy-drama.
