Kannada actor and director Rishab Shetty recently took out time to watch a Tamil film amid his busy schedule with multiple projects. YouthDirected by young filmmaker Ken Karunas. In a post on X, Shetty expressed his happiness, saying that it has been a long time since he smiled throughout a film. he told Youth “Heartfelt tribute to all parents.”

Kantara Starr praised the film’s writing and direction, noting its “subtle depth”. He praised the naturalistic performances of the cast, describing Suraj Venjaramoodu, Devadarshini and the group of friends as a joy to watch. Shetty also praised the technical team and made special mention of music director GV Prakash, cinematographer Vicky, editor Nash and producers Karuppaiah C Ram and Sulochana Kumar for their faith in the project.

In his concluding remarks, Rishabh Shetty expressed confidence that Ken Karunas will be an important asset to the cinema industry, hoping that he will leave a lasting impression.

YouthWhich premiered on March 19, it follows the journey of Praveen, played by Ken Karunas, as he faces the challenges of high school romance while attempting to improve his academic performance for the sake of his parents. The film stars Anishma Anilkumar, Meenakshi Dinesh and Priyanshi Yadav in lead roles, with Devadarshini and Suraj Venjaramoodu along with Abison Thevarasa and Karen Vincent in supporting roles.
