He told, ‘My ex filed a case against me and on top of that some people stood up and started saying that she is a witch, drinks blood, does black magic.’ She described it as a witch-hunt, when she was only 26 or 27 years old.

Reflecting on the expectations placed on her at the time, Ranaut questioned why she should try to present herself in a positive light to others when faced with such treatment. She said, “I have no reason to make them look good,” adding that she was doing her best under difficult circumstances.
Controversy surrounding his personal life hit the headlines after former teammate Adhyayan Suman made claims in an interview in 2016 dna.
