Dacoit: A Love Story, starring Adivi Shesh and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles, collected Rs. Earned 3.50 crores on first Tuesday. Due to the Ambedkar Jayanti holiday, the film’s earnings recorded a 15 percent jump.
The dacoit’s running reached less than Rs. Earning Rs 30.75 crore at the Indian box office by the end of the fifth day. Looking at the current trends, the film is expected to rake in Rs 10 crore. 5 to 6 crore more in the tally and its first week is Rs. But it closed. 35 crores or so.
Directed by Shanil Dev, the romantic action drama received mixed reviews, which is why it is struggling to gain the much-needed traction to get a clean hit verdict. If the film does not perform well further, the film starring Adivasi Shesh will fail at the box office.

Dacoit: A Love Story tells the story of Hari, a criminal who seeks revenge on his former girlfriend, Saraswati, after she is sentenced to imprisonment for betrayal. After being released, Hari becomes involved in a series of robberies in furtherance of his personal vendetta, and links his past relationship to a wider series of criminal incidents.
As Hari continues his pursuit, his path once again crosses that of Saraswati (played by Mrunal Thakur), leading to a conflict between them.
