Dacoit: A Love Story made Rs. Earned Rs 8.50 crore on the second day, registering a slower growth than the opening day. The two-day collection of the romantic action drama has reached Rs. 16.75 crores at the Indian box office. This is a tremendous total for Adivi Shesh and Mrunal Thakur’s film.
Directed by Shenil Dev, the film is expected to remain stable on its third day as well, earning around Rs. Earning 24 crores at Indian box office. The film suffers from a lack of anticipation and mixed wordplay. Had the film received a positive response, it might have had some chances at the box office.

It grossed approximately US$1 million in international markets, taking its worldwide gross to Rs. Earning of Rs 26 crore in two days of theater performance. It needs to see a miraculous hold on weekdays to record a respectable dramatic performance.

Dacoit: A Love Story tells the story of Hari, a criminal who seeks revenge on his former girlfriend, Saraswati, after she is sentenced to imprisonment for betrayal. After being released, Hari becomes involved in a series of robberies in furtherance of his personal vendetta, and links his past relationship to a wider series of criminal incidents.
As Hari continues his pursuit, his path once again crosses that of Saraswati (played by Mrunal Thakur), leading to a conflict between them.
