Filmmaker Karan Johar recently shared a photo from Tokyo, capturing a moment with Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway during the film’s international promotional tour. In a new promotional video, Meryl is seen reviewing Karan’s look while Anne asks him questions about his fashion choices regarding shoes.
In an Instagram video shared by 20th Century Studios, Karan is seen chatting with Meryl and Anne. Anne asked Karan, “Do you rate his shoes?” To which he replied, “All the time!” Anne laughed in response. Upon seeing Karan’s shoes, Meryl commented, “You have the best shoes today!” The shoes were identified as Prada.

A few days ago, Karan had posted pictures with Meryl and Anne on his Instagram handle along with a detailed caption. He described his admiration for Meryl, calling him an inspiration and mentor in acting. he revealed to see the devil Wears Prada (2006) at least 47 times and it was cited in a variety of settings.
Karan wrote about the impact of meeting the actors and said that standing with them gave him a sense of ground-breaking change. Despite trying to remain calm, he admitted that his knees were wobbly. He also noted the warm and welcoming nature of both the actors.
The filmmaker concluded his post by mentioning that the picture will have a special place in his will and hinted at more to come from his conversation with the cast. He ended on a lighter note, saying, “Oh and one more thing, that’s all.”

In addition to Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci, fans will also see some other familiar faces from the first film, as Tracy Thomas and Tibor Feldman return to play Lily and Irv.
