‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ actor Gurcharan Singh went missing for almost a month earlier this year and returned home after 25 days. The actor has finally reached Mumbai for the first time since his disappearance. Now, in an interview, the actor revealed how his parents reacted when he reached home after being missing for 25 days.

Speaking to Tele Talk, Gurcharan Singh said, “It was night time… when mom came out, she could not recognize me. I went inside and told her to see who has come out. Because it was night time, it must have been 2 o’clock. After that daddy came and he said, ‘Hey, this is our Sonu!’ It was night and my mother came out… at first she couldn’t recognise me. It was dark outside and it was quite late. Then she asked my father to come out and see, and he said ‘this is our Sonu’.

He added, “She was so happy that she pressed the upper button and opened the door. I went upstairs. And then the three of us cried together for a long time. Those were tears of joy (She was very happy and pressed the button to open the door. I went upstairs. Then all three of us cried for a long time. They were tears of joy)!”

Earlier, Gurcharan had admitted that he had no plans to return home but God had given him a sign so he came back.

Singh was scheduled to fly from Delhi to Mumbai on April 22 but could not go. did not board the plane and went missingThe actor returned home on May 18. After his return, the police confirmed that Gurcharan Singh had gone on a spiritual retreat to sort out some of his personal issues.
